Hi Phil,

Dave's given me Platinum trowel to test and review for the tiler register site. I've got to say over the times I've used it, it's proved to be an excellently well built trowel and the weight though heavier than most, seems to suit me better.

I've seen Dave fall off his kneepads :) but at least he'll not get the pains I already have.

I'll let you know when I've finished the review.

Phil,

I reckon the platinum trowels are an excellent product. Well designed, manufactured and overall very good value.

the trowels are vv good as are the knee pads although i do have a problem with the right one it seems to of collapsed after only about six big floors Phil wont shall i do as i want to get another pair that i will use for My Karndean work as this is cleaner than tiling so i use different kit ie shoes pads etc etc

the trowels are fantastic if youe got to get up marley tiles but wear a thick glove as you might catch your knuckles

Have you fallen of the knee pads yet? I've managed it a couple of times so far.

Lovely and comfortable pads though.

I haven't fallen off mine yet but carrying a wasboy down a set of ladders with my kneepads on - l looked like I'd sh*t myself!

Love the trowels too - so good at lifting large format tiles when my bucket trowel looked like it would break before the tile moved.

I really like the trowel, smallest one for wall tiles.

I found with tubbed stuff the stronger blade helped spread some of the stiffer stuff that bit easier.
